Makeup

Hi!

First, a quick update of why I'm being so lazy and without energy lately.
I have not gotten any sleep for more than a month. Usually I get my 7-8 hours, but recently it changed. Everynight I have gotten about 3-4 og 1-2 hours of sleep. On really bad days I get no sleep at all. I am on medication now, but it's not really helping. It leaves me without any energy at all. I really hope it changes soon.. Nothing good comes from it: pale skin, pale hair, dark circles, puffy eyes, bloodshot eyes, anxiety and the list goes on.

Anyways, this post is actually to show my going out makeup! It used to be my daily makeup, but since I don't sleep enough I can't be bothered in the morning.

Here it is! ~

The top makeup products are for the skin - like a base. (I forgot to show my contour shadow)
The second is for the eyes only
And lastely, the lips! The makeup is not in any particular order.( Meaning I don't wear my powder and THEN my bbcream).

Face:

From left to right: BBpowder, redness corrector (basically green liquid!), concealer, pink blush, eyebrow pencil, brush from Too Faced and BBcream.

This is my lovely BBpowder. It's almost white, and it's the lightest colour. I use it to seal my skin, and leaves it un-shiny and naturel!

Redness corrector and concealer. I erase the redness I have on my cheeks and especially on my nose. And conceal my dark circles. The concealer contains caffeine, for fresh looking eyes!

Baby pink blush for baby pink cheeks! ~

Chocolate brown eyebrow pencil. Good for severel uses, not only eyebrows. I use it as eyeliner and eye'shadow' as well!

My forever favorite pink and super cute brush from Too Faced! Super soft as well.

My BBcream. It's getting a little too dark for my skin, because it's getting winter. I'm hoping to buy a new one soon!

Eyes:

Small creamshadow from Taiwan. The colours are: white, grey, purple, violet, blue, pink, reddish, brown and gold. The ones I use are white, gold and brown! They are all sligtly glittery.

Small eyepalette. I use the white only, for my innercorners and to highlight.

Liquid eyeliner, which I love! Brings attention to my small eyes and stays on the entire day!

Gel-liner. Mainly using this for tightlining my eyes or a quick everday liner.

White pencil eyeliner. Several uses, but mainly for my waterline, to make my eyes appear bigger.

Eyelash curler, to give my lashes a little 'lift'! Heat it up with a blowdryer (but be careful, don't use a way too hot eyelash curler on your eyes!) and curl your lashes. This will make the result last longer.

My bamboo eyeshadow brush. Used for applying eyeshadow AND contouring my nose.

(I forgot to take a picture of my mascara!)

Lips:

I use this lipgloss first. It works exatly like a lip teint, and is rosey. I apply it only in the middle and center of my lips.  I used it to create the look from my last post.

I apply this lipstick onto my lips to make it look more naturel. It's peach-rosey colour.

My base: EOS organic lipbalm, is great! Use a lipgloss above if you want bigger lips with a 'plump'-effect.

I know this isn't a lot, but it's all I have for now, I'm really sorry. I hope to be better soon! ~

Bye!

Big Winter Post

Hello!

It's slowly getting colder, and it's getting winter. For some people it means being outdoor, lots of snow and christmas. But it also means a lot for our appereance!

I like winter because I can avoid being tan. I like being pale! ~ But for those who doesn't. Use spraytan - it's harmless. Do not use the suntanning machines!

This is my winter-guide for you all, to survive the cold winters! ~

I love in Denmark and in the winter it's about 0 - (minus)10C, and it usually snows. The winter is cold all over the world, and cause your skin to become dry. Therefore give your self some moisturizing!

Moisturizing - from inside and out.

Eat avocado, almonds, and berries. Eat Omega 3 too. All these contain great vitamins and moisturzise your body from inside out! Avocado and almonds both are high in (good) fat that lubricates your body. They're healthy too! Berries are really good for healing and repairing your skin. And Omega 3 is to retain your naturel moisture. Try to eat fruits too, to brighten up your mood on the cold winter days!

Winter Skincare

I recommend having two moisturizers. One for winter and one for the rest of the year. The one for winter should make up as a barrirer against the cold.

Dry skin/Sensitive skin/Aged skin: Use a moisturizer that focuses only on moisturizing. You can also choose one with antiage benefits. They contain vitamins and garantuee high moist. Use a mild cleanser or cleaninsing milk, pat on your toner (non-perfumic) and lots of moisturizer. Your might need to re-apply during the day if you're outside a lot or sitting by aircondition/heater. I suggest you use moisturizing collagen mask 2-3 times during the week as well.

Oily skin: You still need to use a moisterizer. Use oil absorbings sheets or pads to remove excess oil. Cleanse your face, wash gels are best for oily/acne skin. Use a toner without perfum. Apply a thin layer of moisturizer in your entire face. Use less whereever you're more oily (cheeks, T-zone, etc.). If you become shiny, use a loose powder to cover it up.

Combination skin: I have combinated skin as well. I cleanse my face with my normal cleanser, use a toner, and apply a thicker layer to my cheeks, because they tend to be more dry, and a thinner layer in my T-zone (forehead, nose, chin). I reapply moisturizer on my cheeks everytime I go out.

Normal skin: Be careful with your skin! Moist your entire face, and use a cleansing milk. People with normal skin are very lucky, so take good care of it!

Lip Care

Instead of using up all your lipbalm try making your own DIY lipscrub to get rid of the dead skincells!
Here's the recipe:
- organic honey
- sugar
- vaseline
- mixing spoon
- small box/container

Find a small container and pour honey in it. The sugar is supposed to 'scrub'. Pour a little sugar in it, and mix. Lastly put in a tiny bit of vaseline. Mix it with the mixing spoon and voila! You have your own lipscrub that tastes delicious too! And is super quick and affordable. Dip your finger in the lipscrub and move it along your lips and scrub the dead cells off. Now apply your favorite lipbalm and you're good to go!
My favorite is my EOS Lipbalm, because it moisturizes my lips perfectly. I hate cracked lips!

I have this quick lip tutorial too!

This picture is edited. I cut it smaller, and blurred around my mouth, because my mouth area is honestly badlooking. But this is a cute korean lips inspired tutorial!

1. Moist your lips with your lipbalm. Dap excess balm away with a tissue.

2. Apply foundation on and around your lips.

3. Using a lip teint or in my case a rosey-pink/red lipgloss dab it slightly on your lips, close to your teeth. Do NOT apply all over.

4. With a lighter shimmery lipstick blend the foundation line and lipgloss a little together to make it more naturel. This creates a three-dimensional effect.

5. Apply a shimmery/glossy lipgloss with a finger. Done! Great for a naturel eye-makeup and perfect for winter.

Hair Care

Once again the answer is moisturize! At least 2-3 times a week.
Also, the winter might leave you split ends, so if you don't cut your hair that often, be sure to cut it before and after winter!

Winter is good for colouring hair, because there is no sun to damage or mis-colour your hair. So dye your roots, your hair, try a new colour! Have some change in winter, and show it off inside. Remember to wear a hat outside though. We don't like being sick! ~ (LOL the pillow in the background!)

(Also, quick reminder. Don't forget to use your eyecream. Eyecare is important! ♥ )

This is all for now, enjoy the winter and if you celebrate christmas, enjoy as well! I think of doing some korean ulzzang-inspired makeup tutorials and of course a winter/christmas makeup tutorial in on of the next times I blog.

Bye!

05十一月2012

Hi everyone!
大家好!

This is a personal post! Since I'm trying to learn chinese, and I want it to be more though, I will try to write as much as I can in chinese in my personal post (only). And in english too, of course!

It has been a very inactive month. I have been so lazy, sorry!

这是一个懒惰的一个月。我是很懒惰!对不起!

I went to Germany. And I got Bubble Tea! Do you know it? I love it!

我访问德。 和我得到了Bubble Tea! 你知道它?我爱它!~ ♥

I want to make OOTD (Outfit of the day) or maybe MOTD (Makeup of the day). But my makeup is always very similar. I think OOTD would be fun.

我要去使OOTD 或也许 MOTD. 但我的化妆是类似。 我认为OOTD是乐趣。

(My best friend, because I love her!)

(我的好朋友。 我爱她!~ ♥)

Just a quick brace update! This is too complicated for my in chinese, though.
I've had my brace for about two years now (I got it in november, but can't remember the exact date).
For some month I had some 'things' (what are they even called?) in my mouth, that caused dark shadowing and weird looking lips as you see on the picture uder. Even when my mouth was normal it would be visible.
(By the way, sorry for all the horrid pictures. It's not flattering at all!)

The more I smile the more visible it is.

*Poking out of my lips, aye?*

This is how they looked. Horrid and ugly and pokey. They also caused scars, bleeding, infections, etc. in my mouth.

And now, the brace is not gone, but they pokey-things are! Even thought they're just replaced with elastics it's still awesome, since I no longer have something poking out all the time! Aaah, the lovely feeling ~ And my mouth can finally heal up!

Just look at it! Nothing poking out anymore, it's so pretty and I'm so happy to smile a little more again! I know my mouth area is ugly due to unclear skin, redness and so on. The redness is caused by the dentists pulling my mouth too much, though.

Alright! Bye!

好吧! 再见!Baibaii ~

(By the way, when it comes to the correct symbols and the grammar I know my chinese is really bad. But this is only practise, and please do correct my if I'm wrong!)

Makeup-Tag!

Keikei (this blog) tagged everyone who reads her blog, and I found this tag fun so I thought I'd do it!

Skincare:

1. How many times do you wash your face daily?
Morning and afternoon, and then masks 2-3 times a week.

2. What skin type do you have?

Combination. Dry cheeks, oily T-zone.

3. What is your current facial wash?
Washgel from Manhattan Clearface, Neutral Skintoner, L'oreal Anti-Age Day Cream for Combinated and Normal Skin.

4. Do you exfoliate?
I don't do it in my face, but I exfoliate my body a few times a week.

5. What brand do you use?
I like to try different from time to time!

6. What moisturizer do you use?

Body: Dove Bodycream. Face: L'oreal Anti-Age Day Cream for Combinated and Normal Skin.

7. Do you have freckles?

None at all.

8. Do you use eye cream?

Yes, I use the anti-age eye cream from Derma.

9. Do you or did you have acne prone skin?

I used to have really bad acne in my early teenage-years, but I barely have any left. Every now and then it pops op due to reasons (no sleep, fastfood, periods, etc.)

10. Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?

No.

Makeup:

11. What foundation do you use?

I use BBcream from Garnier instead. Foundation is too heavy and cakey for my face.

12. How about concealer?

Garnier Roll-On Concealer

13. Do you know your undertone color?

I have pink undertones.

14. What do you think of fake eyelashes?

I love my eyes, and like to protect my eye-area, but when I want to doll myself up I love them! I like the dolly ones the most, but if I'm going all naturel I'd cut them into 1/3 and apply them to my outer corner and extend my real eye. I never wear false lashes in school.

15. What brand of mascara do you use?

I rarely use mascara, so I'm using cheap, chemically-filled ones I suppose. So guilty...

16. Sephora or MAC?

Sephora!

17. Do you have a MAC Pro-card?

No.

18. What makeup tools do you use in make up application?

Brushes mainly. And for some things my very own fingers are enough.

19. Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

Sometimes. I plan on being the E.L.F. Eyeprimer soon.

20. For the face?

Not for everyday, only if I'm going somewhere. I have the Foundation Primer from GOSH.

21. What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?

I don't have a favorite brand, but I prefer gold/champagne on the lid, and a darker chocolate on my outer corners. And white shimmery ones to highlight! I like the naturel, slightly gyaru-inspired look.

22. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?

Liqiud, but I use pencil to tightline my eyes.

23. How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

Now, I don't really ever unless I get distracted. I don't actually remember poking my eyes ever. I'm careful when it comes to my eyes, and my hands has never been very 'shakey'.

24. What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?

I wish I could pull if off, but I can't. My small eyes don't allow me crazy colours. But I love pigment eyeshadows! Especially Roseschock is doing a great job with pigment eyeshadow.

25. Do you use mineral makeup?

No, but I probably should, right? Oh way I think my BBpowder might be mineral!

26. What is your favorite lipstick?

I only own one, which has this rosey colour, and I love it! But I've forgotte the brand and name, but I'll edit this late when I get home!

27. How about lipgloss?

I got some free ones from coolcos cosmetics and the transparent one is perfect above the lipstick. I also use a rosey-peach colored one from GOSH.

28. What is your favorite blush to use?

Coolcos Pink Blush. It's so pigmented and stays on the entire day!

29. Do you buy your makeup on ebay?

No, but I want to try it someday!

30. Do you like drugstore makeup?

Indeed. Many of my products are drugstore!

31. Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)

If they announce it, but usually not.

32. Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?

I have done that before (age 13), but I want to be a cosmetologist so that will count as makeup-classes too I suppose?

33. Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

I have never really been. I'm clumsy with my makeup. I always end up losing it or pushing it on the floor. And if I have a bad or tiring day my eyeliner may screw up a little.

34. Name a makeup crime that you hate?

Having a 'foundation'-line. You know, when the face is darker than the neck? Just no! And shaving brows off just to draw them really thin, way too dark and extremely misplaced back again. No, no, no...

35. Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?

Neutral ones, my face would look strange and cakey with overly dramatic makeup. *le sigh*

36. Which celebrity always has great make up?

Tsubasa Masuwaka. It's so naturel, yet she looks like a flawless doll. I love her makeup, but could never pull it off.

37. If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?

Eyeliner

38. Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?

I've done it several times, when I'm sick I just don't want to apply makeup on (or I'm late). But I go to school on sick days too, looking like a mess. ~

39. Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?

Ah, well, it's a tough question. It depends if my eyes are puffy, if I have bad skin, cracked lips, red face, etc. Small things make my ugly quickley, hahah!

40. What do you think of makeup?

I love it, but I would anyday choose skincare over makeup. Makeup application becomes easier on nice skin!

Thanks for reading! ♥
