Thailand Blackhead Carbon Mask Review

Hi guys!

I wanted to do the ulzzang-transformation buuuuuut I have a huge (and I mean HUGE) problem with my mouth area right now. Not only is it filled with bacteria-filled pimples, I also have lip herpes (No, it's not an std. I've had lip-herpes since I was six). So I am in treatment for that, but it looks awful, so I'm pushing the look untill I look 'normal' again. Thanks for the patience! Meanwhile, I will do a review (pictures are taken before lipherpes) on this really awesome blackhead mask!

I bought this really small mask on ebay for about 5$ which really isn't expensive! The item is from Thailand but was shipped surprisingly fast so yay! I am hoping I can find the same in a bigger size, because so far this is actually the best pore-mask I've been able to find! It's so effective, but sadly so small. 

Now, we all hate pores and black heads don't we? I know I do, a lot! I used to buy these nose-pads, but I find masks easier because who says you only have blackheads on your nose? As for me, I have them on my nose, forehead and some on my cheeks. And with a mask you can easily apply and remove blackheads exactly where you want to!

It looks so strange, like a skeleton, so don't go on a date with your bf with this mask! It's just for home and for hiding! Haha ~

It's a lovely peel-off mask. After 15-20 minutes the mask is dry, you can peel it off gently by the edges. If there's leftovers just rinse with water.When you peel off you can see your black and whiteheads getting pulled out with the dirty mask! Just trash the dirty piece and your nose is clean and nice, almost like new! (wtf?) 

Hoping my lip herpes will recover soon so I can continue the different tutorials. Untill then, enjoy the review! 

Makeup Transformations; Pin-up

Hi! I'm finally back!

I got my lovely camera. I'll excuse for the pictures, I am still learning how to deal with the new camera >_<

But as promised I will now do the 'transformations' or rather the different makeup-looks that I promised back in this post. The first is our lovely pin-up! 

Let's start from the base: which is no makeup at all. We always start out 'painting our canvas' with a cleansed and moisturised face. I know I look like a horror movie without makeup, but isn't that what makeup is for after all? Let's get started! Oh yeah, and excuse the facial expression, the eyebags, pimples and hair! Hu-hu!

Let's first see how the typical pin-up girls' makeup is like (a few examples from google, credit to their owners)

I wanted to make a look inspired by these girls' makeup, but with my own creativity. 

                 

The pin-up girls were that times' sexy chicks! They were gorgeous, curvy and super sexy. They wore different types of makeup, but some statements would go again and again, such as the cat-eye/winged eyeliner or a slightly smokey eye and of course big, sexy, RED lips! Their faces were clean and youthful and their brows arched and full. Often with curly hair and showing some skin (but you don't have to do that!). 

Alright, zero makeup!

Here's with the base makeup: Primer, foundation, concealer, eyebrows, blush and contouring. I made my brows quite thick and more arched than naturelly. I contoured my nose slimmer, my cheeks and chin, and applied an orange blush on my cheeks. 

Here's the eyeliner done, without mascara. I made a very sharp wing, which was kind of toughto get even because you I have an annoying scar at the corner of my eye (you can see it on the photo as well)

As a 'twist' I lined my lower lashline with a dark purple colour, and kept my eyeshadow naturel because of the obvious eyeliner. On this photo everything but the lips is done. 

Time for the finished result! Bright red lips, winged eyeliner and 'naturel' hair. Oh, and my boyfriends' T-shirt hahah ~

Plaisir Eye Cream Review

Hi! 

You all probably thought I was dead or stopped blogging, but NO! I am still here I have just been too busy with everything, even so much it came to a point where my life was on a stand-by. But I am back now luckily! I have many things planned, so please stay tuned! 

I am now really positive I will have my camera for my birthday so that I can do my transformation! I also just dyed my hair, I got split-hair! Which I will show in my next entry. And in not long I will have nails done as well, and I 'lost' the brace. Becoming a real beauty queen, wohoo! ~

Back to the topic: This time I will just post a small review on a product recieved from the danish makeup-store Matas. Their products are avialable at their website: www.matas.dk (however, I don't know if they ship outside scandinavia!) Plaisir is Matas' own brand, along with their original stripes-brand. Plaisir is more luxury, but also a tad' more expensive. They have 3 different eyecreams to choose from, and I choose the one with an anti wrinkle effect! 

No perfum, full of different vitamins and no parabens doesn't sound too bad, right?

This is the cute little eyecream. The shape and look of it is so adorable, it's no shame having it inside my bathroom closet! I'd gladly show it to everyone willing to see! It's light and easy, and the shape almost reminds me of my EOS lipbalms. 

  

(Oh okay - it's anti wrinkle EYE care!)

 Did this picture to give you an idea of how small it is. It's about 2½ of my fingers, which isn't really big, but they are not very expensive either. However, I got this eyecream from saving up enough points (Join Matas and everytime you buy you'll get points, and save up to get something for free)! 

It's "insides" looks so eat-able and yummy and well.. almost fluffy!It's just like a good cream should be. It's light on the skin and disappears into your skin quickly and unmessy, and it's one of those few products where there is actually quite much cream inside - it's not just a pretty bottle! 

So what do I think? 

I don't have wrinkles yet, so for that part, I am not sure. But the creams feels great and refreshing, almost gives my eyes a cooling effect. No perfums and parabens are always a plus when it comes to taking care of your eyes, and there's lots of product in the bottle! 

I'll give it 4/5 stars

Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Blackhead Deep Cleansing Oil Balm Review

Hi!

Sorry that I'm late with me review. Exams are making me busy, and I broke my charger, so before I run out of power (onr hour) I wanted to post this review on my newest bough korean skincare product!

These are all the items that came in the package. Two testers on a the SKINFOOD Deep Sea Water Multi Gel and SKINFOOD Egg White Pore Foam. They will both later be tried and tested, wohoo! 

And of course the product of this review: Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Blackhead Deep Cleansing Oil Balm

Two cute testers! 

The packeging is so, so cute! This is the first Holika Holika product I've ever purchased, so it's really exciting! 

I don't read korean, so I had to check up with the buyer about the information. They said, that you should apply the balm on your black heads for 5-10 minutes and wash off wih lukewarm water. 

This is what the insides look like. Applied on the nose it just becomes transparent with a lot of 'shine'. Like putting transparents slime on your nose/chin/cheek/forehead or whereever your pores are! The smell is a little too strong for me, a very strong sweet lemon-smell. 

So what do I think of the product? I've been using it 2-3 times a week along with nosestrips. I like it a lot, and I'm positive about it! My pores are almost gone now, and with makeup completely invisible. It leaves a nice cool and fresh feeling after washing it off, and there's so much product in the container! 

Other than that, it's quite cheap too, and arrived just after 14 days. Super! 

Have a pretty pignose, get those pores clean! ~

 (Did not actually taste it, but with the strong smell, it's almost tempting!)

Hello all!

Wondering where my 'transformation-post' are? I have been here at my blog, but I haven't posted anything for way too long.

The reason is I actually wanna wait untill I get my camera (for my birthday). Untill then, I have a few reviews I will put on, and then I will continue with the makeup-tutorials!

Also, I still need my belowed 88 pallette to create my looks, but that (plus an EOS lipbalm) is at my ex's house and I'm still waiting to have it back. I'm very sorry! 

I'm working on all the looks, and I've created each over and over again, to make it right! I might film tutorials too, depending how good my camera is and how well I am editing it (Screw you Windows 8, I really need movie maker!)

Makeup "Transformation"?

Hi! 

I got the idea of making a lot of differnet makeup looks/transformations. Not Promise Phan-like, but different  styles of makeup from around the world. I will be making these looks: 

Pin-up: 

Long lashes, naturel eyeshadows, high cheekbones and bright red lipstick! Possibly also a fake mole to complete the look. Pin-ups are sexy, funny and adorable at the same time, and their makeup is easy and fun to create! 

Ulzzang/Eouljjang

(Korean model Song Ah Ri)

Means "best face" in korean. It has become one of the most famous fashionstyles in South Korea. It's the babydoll concept of looking young, pure and cute. A lot of eyeliner, white eyeshadow underneath the eyes and "eyebags". Not to mention their sharp V-line faces (which means a sharp chin/a heartshaped face), naturel hair, and glowing and dewy skin. A new trend among ulzzangs too are "gradiant lips" as well. A cute look!

Doll/Gyaru

(Japanese POPTEEN-model Nana Suzuki)

First of all - gyaru's aren't meant to be doll, I know, that's not what they are going for, but with the big eyes and small face features it seems almost like it. Gyaru is a japanese fashionstyle, and the makeup consists of circle lenses, dramatic fake eyelashes, bottom eyelashes, brown or naturel eyeshadows, and lots of contouring is the key! While most gyaru's are slightly tanned compared to the ulzzangs. They also tend to look more grown-up than ulzzangs, and while ulzzang can be a very naturel makeuplooks, gyarus are meant to be dramatic and outstanding! Their hair is mostly blond/light, big and curly! 

"Indian Style" Makeup

I don't know if this belongs to any specific style, but I love the makeup that indian girls wear on special occasions! It's so colourful, bright and happy. There's mostly focus on the eyes, and less or none on lips/eyebrows/facial feautres. Their skin is kept naturel-looking yet flawless, and their makeup often fits their clothes. Hair, face and body is often filled with different asian jewelry. 

What's more beauitful than a bride? (Althought the bride on this picture doesn't look to happy hahah). Bridal makeup of course varies depending on where in the world you live, but since I live in the western world I will try to recreate that look. Bridal looks too vary from person to person. Some want naturel makeup, some want something more dramatic, colorful, dark or what ever. But I will go for the naturel innocent bridal look. Making the beautiful features stand out, and hiding the biggest flaws. A naturel all over makeup is good for any to-be bridal. The hair is often put up in a bun or another beuaitufl and calm way. 

Another (maybe slightly frighetning?) definitely different makeup look by the japanese again! This is called "ganguro" and is another undegroud streetstyle by the japanese girls. Their hair is often pastel coloured or another crazy colour and tuned all up. Long false and very decorative nails. They either tan a  lot or use a foundation a lot darker than their actual skintone, and create white panda-like circles around the entire eyearea, along with eyeliner down under the eye. Some use circle lenses as well. Then they "obviously" highlight the nose with white liner, and their lips as well. They often use small decoartional thiings on their cheeks such as pearls or stickers and glue them on with false eyelash glue - don't even use real glue! It's a very different and kind of funny look! 

These are all the different makeup looks I will be working on the upcoming days (or possibly weeks, I am not sure, sorry!) I wil try to recreate the makeup and if possible, the hair and clothes as well.

Lancome Serum Review

Hi! 

Sorry for being so inactive for... almost a month? Sorry for being a suckish blogger, I promise to pull myself together! In april I will make more posts, I promise! 

Here is my review on my Lancome serum!

First of: Why use serum when you're so young?

I'm 17, so it will be quite some time before I see wrinkles (however fine lines can appear already in your 20'es), and serum is known to be something only for 'old women'. Well, it's not, and the younger you are trying to avoid the wrinkles, the longer they will keep away. If you start using antiwrinkle products when you already have wrinkles, you won't be fixing the "mistakes", you'll just prevent new wrinkles from coming. 

Serum is an amazing product, but you don't need to use a serum for 60+ skin. Ask your local makeup store what will match your skin best. 

Alright, now to the review. 

This is: Lancome Genifique Youth Activator

Price (in Denmark only - it may vary depending on where you live): 365DKK (I hope it's right, forgive me if not), which is about 62USD. 

So it is pricey for only 20ml, but you can buy a bigger bottle, 50ml for 500+DKK, which is 85USD.

Some 'explanation' on the back of the box.

 Serum should be applied morning and evening before bedtime. Rinse/cleanse your face and if you want to, use a toner before applying your serum. Do NOT apply your moisturiser before your serum! Serum first, then moisturiser. 

Sorry for the bad pictures, I don't know why the quality is so low ~

I think this serum is quite nice. It gives this fresh feeling on my face. It doesn't really have any smell, and the consistence is almost like water! 

You only need 1-2 drops for the entire face and it takes second for it to sink into your face! After using it for now, a couple of weeks, I feel my skin has not improved much - but it could be caused for bad eating, etc. too. I still use it, and I think I will repurchase it when I run out!

This review was super short, but I still hope you like it. I recommend for all ages to purchase a serum, ask your local makeup store what fits your better. Good luck, and I will return very soon! 

Etude House Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream Review

Hi everyone! 

I have super many upcoming reviews, and I feel like I keep getting more and more skincare and makeup (yesterday invested in 5 makeup products!) but I try my best! 

This is my personal review of my first Etude House product ever! I've heard so much good about Etude House. Etude House is a very popular southkorean makeup/skincare-brand known for making ulzzang-makeup and products for sensitive asian skin! Unfortunately my skin isn't "asian" (oh really?), but I'll give it a shot. 

The western BB creams are a lot darker than the asian ones because the 'beauty' in asia is pale skin, while here tan skin is more popular. I am naturelly dead-pale and that's why asian bb creams fit my skin more. 

I recieved my BB cream SO quickly, I barely waited 14 days, and shipping was free! Thought it was a little pricey, but so worthy, this came to me in my mailbox! (Blurred out my adress)

This is (long name, I know): Etude House Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream with SPF 50

Whitening & Anti-wrinkle, Anti-darkening, and long lasting and waterproof, plus SPF 50? Is this not too much to ask for? I LOVE IT!

Here's the BB Cream, it comes with an automatic sponge-applicator which I prefer using because it covers super well! You can take the sponge-applicator off if you want to. 

(On this picture I had already tried it on for reviewing purposes before taking a picture. The sponge was pure white and unused before of course!)

The sponge is SUPER SOFT. Like petting a bunny or hugging a teddybear! *___* 

Look how pale it is? 

Here I am naked-faced, wearing nothing but the BB Cream. The picture is slightly blurry, but you can tell that my skin becomes really dewy, naturelly shiny and super flawless! (Sorry that I don't have a 'before'-picture to show you just how big the effect really is!) By the way, sorry for looking tired, it's taken in the morning, I just can't bother to look awake and happy. (Ohoho, the morning uglyness) ~~ 

Super dewy skin, right? I love it sooo much! ~

So all in all, what I think:

I love how long it lasts! It lasts through the entire day even after going to gym and sweating! And when you apply, it actually does make my face feel super cool and fresh. 

Light feeling, heavy coverage!

I was so surprised by the coverage because western BB creams doesn't really cover, only gives a little "teint". I didn't need any concealer on my pimples and only very little on my dark circles, my skin became flawless! Super many good points to Etude for that! 

However, it does not have any whitening effect for me, because I am so pale, but it's not a big bother for me. I'm pale enough, and the colour matches perfectly! I was scared it wouldn't, because I had to buy it online. 

It's a little pricey, but also worth it! 

However, there's not a lot of product in the container. It's very light already, and there's barely any bb cream inside. It's already so small! *Sigh* 

I recommend this for all skin types really, old, sensitive, acne, anything, because it hits everything and benefits all skin types perfectly! 

It is now my favorite BB cream, it has so many benefits it's almost a skincare product! (Ok, maybe not hahaha ~)
