Makeup "Transformation"?

Hi! 

I got the idea of making a lot of differnet makeup looks/transformations. Not Promise Phan-like, but different  styles of makeup from around the world. I will be making these looks: 

Pin-up: 

Long lashes, naturel eyeshadows, high cheekbones and bright red lipstick! Possibly also a fake mole to complete the look. Pin-ups are sexy, funny and adorable at the same time, and their makeup is easy and fun to create! 

Ulzzang/Eouljjang

(Korean model Song Ah Ri)

Means "best face" in korean. It has become one of the most famous fashionstyles in South Korea. It's the babydoll concept of looking young, pure and cute. A lot of eyeliner, white eyeshadow underneath the eyes and "eyebags". Not to mention their sharp V-line faces (which means a sharp chin/a heartshaped face), naturel hair, and glowing and dewy skin. A new trend among ulzzangs too are "gradiant lips" as well. A cute look!

Doll/Gyaru

(Japanese POPTEEN-model Nana Suzuki)

First of all - gyaru's aren't meant to be doll, I know, that's not what they are going for, but with the big eyes and small face features it seems almost like it. Gyaru is a japanese fashionstyle, and the makeup consists of circle lenses, dramatic fake eyelashes, bottom eyelashes, brown or naturel eyeshadows, and lots of contouring is the key! While most gyaru's are slightly tanned compared to the ulzzangs. They also tend to look more grown-up than ulzzangs, and while ulzzang can be a very naturel makeuplooks, gyarus are meant to be dramatic and outstanding! Their hair is mostly blond/light, big and curly! 

"Indian Style" Makeup

I don't know if this belongs to any specific style, but I love the makeup that indian girls wear on special occasions! It's so colourful, bright and happy. There's mostly focus on the eyes, and less or none on lips/eyebrows/facial feautres. Their skin is kept naturel-looking yet flawless, and their makeup often fits their clothes. Hair, face and body is often filled with different asian jewelry. 

What's more beauitful than a bride? (Althought the bride on this picture doesn't look to happy hahah). Bridal makeup of course varies depending on where in the world you live, but since I live in the western world I will try to recreate that look. Bridal looks too vary from person to person. Some want naturel makeup, some want something more dramatic, colorful, dark or what ever. But I will go for the naturel innocent bridal look. Making the beautiful features stand out, and hiding the biggest flaws. A naturel all over makeup is good for any to-be bridal. The hair is often put up in a bun or another beuaitufl and calm way. 

Another (maybe slightly frighetning?) definitely different makeup look by the japanese again! This is called "ganguro" and is another undegroud streetstyle by the japanese girls. Their hair is often pastel coloured or another crazy colour and tuned all up. Long false and very decorative nails. They either tan a  lot or use a foundation a lot darker than their actual skintone, and create white panda-like circles around the entire eyearea, along with eyeliner down under the eye. Some use circle lenses as well. Then they "obviously" highlight the nose with white liner, and their lips as well. They often use small decoartional thiings on their cheeks such as pearls or stickers and glue them on with false eyelash glue - don't even use real glue! It's a very different and kind of funny look! 

These are all the different makeup looks I will be working on the upcoming days (or possibly weeks, I am not sure, sorry!) I wil try to recreate the makeup and if possible, the hair and clothes as well.

Essie Nailpolish Review

Hi! 

Sorry for being inactive for so long, I've been busy (playing sims *cough* *cough*) 

I'm back with a small Essie-nailpolish review! I'm reviewing both the pink one and the "grow stronger", but this entry will be meant for "grow stronger". I'm a huuuuge fan of Essie's nailpolish, they're all the perfect flawless colours! 

For my lazyness recently, I've started on a new this february. I am going to fitness and I do my skincare (or try to) every single day, no matter how much lack of sleep I've gotten! But I sure look tired now... 

Anyways, here are my two recent buys, the Essie "Need a Vacation", which is this super quite strawberrymilk colour, and this "Grow Stronger" Essie polish. It has no colour, but is meant to strenghten weak nails, like mine! 

 First I removed my nailpolish, put on handcream, and cut my nails short. My nails can't get more than a few milimetres long before they break off or get ugly. My nails are and have always been very ugly and fragile, and now that I'm working it's even worse. They floss very easy, and my thumbs are the worst, hence I don't want to upload a picture of them. I can not grow them long at all, and they seem to be in several "layers" of nail. 

So I was hoping I could find my saviour here!

It works as a basecoat as well. It says that in just 5 days your nails should appear and grow out stronger. Seems good to me! ~

I've worn it for 2 weeks now, and I have had nailpolish above it. (Apply as a basecoat, let it dry, and apply a coloured polish). It works alright I guess. I feel my nails are still very fragile, but they look prettier. They can't grow very long, but that's probably just a fact I have to look in the eyes. Poor me, I think it's super feminine when girls have long and healthy nails! 

Essie is semi-pricey for a nailpolish, but you do get a good amount of product. I now own 7 Essie-nailpolishes, and I love them! They're about 18dollars for one polish. 

All in all, I'm satisfied, recommended for weak nails! But I don't think my nails grow a lot longer though. But at least they are healthier! Hope you enjoy my thoughts on this product.

Video Tutorial ~

Hello! 

I promised you guys my next entry would be about my BB-stuff, but I'll push it to the next again. Because:

It's a very basic everyday gyaru/gal look. Wearable at work too. Whether you want to add fake lashes or not are your own choose, but it makes me eyes go really big and bright! 

Before I started filmed I had already contoured my face and applying BBcream and BBpowder for perfect skin. In my camera it looks a lot darker (especially the contouring on my nose - seriously, camera, why do you do this to me? Un-noticable with light, and overdone when dark?) but it's more naturel in real. 

So, I don't explain how to do this look in my videos, that's why I will do it here, step-by-step. 

Things you will need:

- BBcream or foundation if you like, BBpowder/'normal' powder

- Blush

- Lipstick and lipgloss

- Fake lashes, lash glue and a tweezer

- Liquid liner

- Cream eyeshadows

- Mascara

- Brushes 

- Concealer

1. Make your skin pretty with BBcream and powder, contour your nose and apply pink blush to the apples of your cheeks. 

2. Start with the liquid eyeliner. Make a thick line along your eyelid, do NOT make it wider than your eye is. No cat-eye, no nothing. 

3. Apply a gold-caramel cream eyeshadow on your lid, and a little above your real lid. 

3. Apply a darker cream eyeshadow colour (Dark brown) and create a fake crease. Apply on the outer corner and along your lower lashline, untill the middle too. 

4. Once again use a pure, white, shimmery cream eyeshadow and apply it on your browbone as a highlighter.

5. Using a brown powder eyeshadow dap a bit on your eyebrow whereever you have 'gaps.'

6. Take some long, naturel lashes and apply them as you usually would. 

7. Apply mascara to your upper lashes to mak them stick witht he false ones. Coat your lower lashes long and full. 

8. If you want to, apply concealer in the corners of your mouth, this will give the illusion of smaller, fuller lips. Apply powder over the concealer to matify it. 

9. Apply a rossey-peach lipstick colour to your lips. 

10. Apply a shimmery colour above the lipstick. 

Fix your hair and you're done! Easy easy ~

I choose some chinese tags plus title of the video because this makeup looks is mainly focused on typical chinese girls makeup. It also looks better on chinese eyes - I know from applying this makeup on my chinese friend.
